Our Beachcomber jacket has become a Lighthouse classic and, due to popular demand, we have again expanded the range of colours available for the new Spring/Summer season.
Waterproof and windproof with a peachy-soft outer and jersey lining, this is the perfect lightweight jacket to cover those transitional seasonal moments when it's a little warmer outdoors, but the rainclouds are threatening, or when the evening air still has a bit of a chill.
The concealed hood and zipped front pockets keep the lines clean and unfussy when you just want a simple jacket to grab and go. Breton stripes and adjustable drawcords keep the nautical look in a variety of colour ways.
With the machine washable Beachcomber to hand, any outing can be enjoyed with gusto, no matter what the weather has in store!
Is this coat waterproof? Yes, it is waterproof, up to 3,000 mm, with fully taped seams, an an adjustable hood.
Is it breathable? Yes, it is breathable up to 3,000 gsm.
Is it windproof? Yes.
Will it keep me warm? This is designed to be a lighter weight Spring/Summer product and does not have additional padding or insulation.
Does it have pockets? Yes, two front pockets and a zipped internal pocket.
What length is it? Hip length
Is it washable? Machine washable / Do not tumble dry / Iron on low heat

I have been looking for a showerproof jacket which fills in the spring and autumn gap. This ticks all the boxes. It's lightweight and totally shower proof but at the same time light enough to not be too warm on spring or autumn days. I love the soft colour. It really suits my completion - I'm a Spring.

So pleased with this jacket. Lovely colour and nice striped lining which doesn’t make me hot as do some linings for waterproof jackets! Haven’t worn it yet as bought for cruise to fjords. I’m sure it will be perfect all year round. Good fit and great value for money as in sale and had further £10 off so win win!! Will certainly use Lighthouse again and would recommend to friends.
